Load Data

All velocity and accuracy test firing was done with a Panda single-shot bolt action Bench Rest rifle built by Gary Ocock and equipped with a Jewell trigger, Kreiger barrels, and a 45 Power Leupold competition scope. Remington 30 caliber Carbine brass was used as the base cartridge case. Federal 205M small rifle match primers were used throughout. Firing was accomplished in a 100-yard long, temperature and humidity controlled tunnel. Velocities were measured with an Oehler chronograph. Each charge was weighed on an electronic scale to 0.1 gr. All loads listed below were fired in fully fire-formed cases. Note that these cases have approximately 6% more volume than formed only cases. Firing full loads in unfireformed cases can develop unacceptably high pressures. Always start fire- forming at least 10% below listed loads.
